Carroll County Animal Shelter is currently equipped for housing stray dogs and puppies only.
The facility does not house cats at this time.
A license is required by ordinance of all dogs over six months of age. The cost for the license is $5.00 and they are renewed every July 1st. You may obtain a license at the County Judge/Executive's office on the 2nd Floor of the Courthouse or you may print and complete the form below, enclose $5 and mail to Carroll County Judge/Executive's Office, 440 Main Street, Carrollton, KY 41008. We will gladly mail your license to you.
